manufacture truffle products in South Africa and are proud to deliver a luxury brand with such intensely “flavourable” ingredients.

Currently, they produce three luxury truffle products, lovingly handcrafted in Cape Town, South Africa: Truffle Honey, Truffle Mayo & Truffle Salt.

FLAVOURUNION also offers a wide variety of indigenous, exotic and rare honey including “Cape heritage” Fynbos honey and the rarest of Buchu Honey. They offer a selection of up to 10 different types of honey at any given time. This finest of honey is sourced and handled with care.

About the owner
After spending 15 years in the advertising and design industry, as well as supporting local artists in her design shop in Johannesburg, Amanta Hooman and her husband decided to take on new adventures. They worked on Super Yachts in the Mediterranean, where Amanta (working as a chef) developed her love for truffles and exotic honey. Having a sister living in Paris for a decade also inspired new culinary concepts and Amanta had the opportunity to master the famous delicate fungus; she knew she just had to introduce these amazing flavours back home.

Each recipe has been developed with love and dedication and the most careful attention has been paid to the packaging too. Amanta hand-picked the beautiful glass jars and even designed the labels herself. Packing products of such superb quality is a great pleasure for us here at Ukama!
